At Ability we are seeking Non-Exec Directors to join our volunteer Board. This is an exciting opportunity for an engaged individual to use their experience in regulation of social housing and/or the care & support environment to bring strategic oversight to our operations. As current Board members retire, we are seeking two individuals with specific skill sets to maintain a balanced Board.
We are seeking one individual with significant experience in managing Finance functions within the Housing Associations/Registered providers. We are also seeking an individual with significant senior experience of management Property, Assets and Housing Services to tenants in Social Housing.
About You
- Excellent communication skills and have experience of participating in sometimes difficult discussions concerning the needs of the organisation.
- Professional senior experience within the Social Housing and/or Social Care sectors.
- A background in and deep understanding of the legislation and regulation environment in which we operate.
- Strong commitment to Ability's values and feel passionately in alignment with our mission to enable our customers to live more independently.
