The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our products to both retail customers and in-store customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle (e. g., van or truck) to transport food products from our warehouse to retail customers and shop customers in London.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring that products are secured for transportation to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Plan delivery routes to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency, considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
- Verify and review delivery orders to ensure accuracy and completeness, matching them with the actual products being delivered.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering products to the correct location, assisting with unloading, and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and regular maintenance of the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues or necessary repairs to the management team.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on the road.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, delivery times, and any issues encountered during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a van delivery driver.
- Minimum 4 years of excellent time management and organizational skills.
