Job Description
Full Time – Live-in Care Professional
At Abicare, we're looking for experienced, compassionate people who genuinely want to make a difference.
As a Live-in Care Professional, you'll live with one client in their own home, providing personalised care, companionship and practical support to help them remain safe, independent and comfortable.
This is a rewarding role where you'll have the time to build meaningful relationships and deliver truly person-centred care, supporting clients with everything from personal care and medication to preparing meals, household tasks and accompanying them on outings or appointments.
We welcome applications from experienced Live-in Carers, Care Assistants, Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers and Home Care Professionals.
We provide live-in care across the South West of England and South Wales, including Salisbury, Bath, Bristol, Swindon, Bournemouth, Southampton, Exeter, Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available; you must have permission to work in the UK.
About The Role
As a Live-in Care Professional, you'll provide high-quality care and support while living in your client's home during your placement.
Your role may include
- Personal care
- Medication support
- Companionship and emotional support
- Meal preparation
- Light household duties
- Shopping and accompanying clients to appointments
- Dementia support
- Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Communicating with families and healthcare professionals
What we're looking for
- Minimum 6 months' live-in care experience
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Confident supporting personal care and moving & handling
- Kind, reliable and compassionate
- Good communication skills
- Right to work in the UK (we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role)
