- Position Summary
The Operations & Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the boutique hotel, ensuring excellent guest relations with efficient hotels management experiences, and effective HR administration.
Their role is to ensure smooth hotel operations, maintain property standards, manage staff performance, and drive operational excellence, growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the hotel.
- Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other operational teams.
- Ensure high standards of guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
- Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance programmes.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labour regulations, and health & safety requirements.
- Monitor operational budgets, inventory, and vendor performance.
- Prepare operational reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of hotel operations experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in both hotel operations and HR management.
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is an advantage.
