We are looking for a Transport Shift Manager with proven management experience within the FMCG sector, preferably within the Food sector. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of drivers and transport coordinators to ensure the safe delivery and/or collection of all goods to/from our customers and in accordance with all legal and company requirements.
In the short term the working pattern will be flexible covering days, nights and weekends.

Key Accountabilities:
- To set clear goals, targets and expectations of performance for all Drivers and Transport Coordinators on your shifts to ensure all relevant KPIs are met.
- To ensure all drivers receive a daily debrief and the Transport Management Team are updated daily on performance.
- To ensure all shift members are aware of and comply with environmental, health and safety, legal and company standards and that all shifts operate in compliance with the team.
The Right Person:
- Essential 2 - 5 years experience managing teams within a transport, logistics, distribution, or operational environment
- Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of transport compliance and health & safety requirements.
- Food sector experience
