About the Role

Reporting to the Head of the Dundee Business School, you will contribute to the excellent teaching experience and impactful research and knowledge exchange within the law subject area. The role includes delivery of LLB and LLB (Hons) programmes accredited by the Law Society of Scotland and the Faculty of Advocates.

Responsibilities

  • Teach core Scottish law modules such as Criminal law and Evidence, Delict and Evidence, Business Transactions, Business Organisations, and Property.
  • Contribute to the development of a master’s degree programme in Cyber Law, Policy and Ethics in cooperation with the Department of Cybersecurity.
  • Supervise research master’s and PhD candidates.
  • Engage in a research culture leading to successful submission to REF2021.

Qualifications

  • A Scottish law LLB or LLB (Hons) is an essential requirement.
  • Experience in legal practice in Scotland and teaching the mentioned modules at tertiary level in Scotland is an advantage.
  • Track record of teaching and/or research in Cyber Law, Policy and Ethics is highly desirable.
