This role sits within the Admissions team, part of the wider Strategy, Governance and External and Relations service, which leads the University in both its outward facing activities and our internal corporate relationships and communications, comprising a mix of specialisms – creative content producers, event organisers, admissions/recruitment staff and marketing/communications staff, in order to ensure the University is positioned with a distinctive voice and creates impact in terms of both reputation and revenue.
The University now seeks to appoint an Admissions Officer.
Reporting to the Senior Admissions Compliance Officer, you will provide a high-quality admissions experience to our applicants.
You’ll be responsible for processing applications within agreed timescales, making decisions on applications against pre-agreed criteria.
You’ll provide high standards of customer service, dealing with queries from applicants and their advisers, and providing admission guidance to colleagues.
You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and an ability to work under pressure, adapting to changing demands of a busy team. You’ll be expected to be a self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and work collaboratively with others in a solution-orientated manner.
