Job Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living per the care plan
- Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding, incontinence care)
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility devices
- Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and laundry
- Grocery shopping and local errands
- Medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, families, and office staff
- Support client dignity, privacy, and safety at all times
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and reference check
- Previous home care experience preferred
- HHA or CNA certification preferred
- Homemakers do not need certification
- Supportive Home Care Aide certification is a plus
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, and assist with mobility
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
