Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes
  • Assist with activities of daily living per the care plan
  • Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding, incontinence care)
  • Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility devices
  • Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Grocery shopping and local errands
  • Medication reminders
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, families, and office staff
  • Support client dignity, privacy, and safety at all times

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and reference check
  • Previous home care experience preferred
  • HHA or CNA certification preferred
  • Homemakers do not need certification
  • Supportive Home Care Aide certification is a plus
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, and assist with mobility
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
