The predicted salary is between 20200 - 20200 £ per year.

Salary: Fixed term maternity cover, £33,941 per annum pro rata

Contractual hours: 30

Basis: Part Time, Fixed Term

Package: Up to 40 days of annual leave pro-rata, 3 x salary life insurance, up to 10% employer pension contribution, excellent terms and conditions.

Maternity Cover until January 2027

About our service

Aberlour Futures is an SVQ Training and Assessment Centre with an excellent reputation, earned over 20 years, for delivering high quality vocational education and training for the Early Learning and Child Care workforce in Aberdeen City and Shire. The service also delivers Foundation Apprenticeship programmes, delivered in partnership with secondary schools in Aberdeen. The Foundation Apprenticeship qualifications are aimed at young people in S5/S6 who are considering a career working with children.

What we are looking for

  • Ideally you will be a qualified SVQ assessor who is interested in developing a career as a Foundation Apprenticeship Tutor.
  • You should have a background in Early Learning and Childcare and/or Playwork and hold qualifications ideally at SCQF Level 9.
  • If you do not possess SVQ Assessor qualifications, you should be an experienced and suitably qualified Childhood Practice Professional who is willing to undertake on the job SVQ Assessor and Foundation Apprenticeship tutor training to join the Aberlour Futures Team.
  • We also welcome applications from individuals with a teaching qualification who are interested in applying their skills in a vocational learning environment.
  • Your experience in education and learner engagement will be highly valued as part of our team.
