Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our therapy team that feels like family and a job that feels like home! Be part of the dedicated, energetic therapy staff at Stellar Health Group.
Position available: Per diem weekends

Qualifications for Occupational Therapist:
- Current MA State License as an Occupational Therapist
- Flexibility to be part of a dynamic and cooperative team, distributing workload equitably
- Ability to evaluate or assess patients, participate in consultations, and meet with residents, staff, families, and other professionals to plan individualized treatment and discharge plans, and to teach and counsel patients and staff
Responsibilities for Occupational Therapist:
- Providing occupational therapy services to promote excellence in rehab care, interdisciplinary cooperation, and quality patient care
- Evaluating patients timely, as required by state, payor, or facility
- Screening patients upon admission or as requested by the director
- Developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans and goals
- Providing treatment according to the plan of care
- Communicating with other disciplines and interacting with staff as needed
- Documenting treatments and charges according to guidelines
- Participating in family conferences when requested
