South Day Services support adults over 16 years old with a learning disability to take part in meaningful day activity. We support people with structured activities so a knowledge and understanding of support needs for people with a learning disability, with profound and multiple disabilities, or complex care needs is essential. We strive to ensure people reach their potential and are involved in their community so local knowledge is a bonus.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and are committed to delivering a high-quality person-centred care.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where applicable, this post also requires an Overseas Criminal Record Check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

This post will require you to have obtained SSSC registration within 3 months of employment. This post has a minimum requirement of 2 references which must be your current or most recent employer.
