We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Environment and Infrastructure Business Support Team as an Admin Support Officer. This is a key supervisory role, responsible for the day to day management of a team delivering high quality, customer focused administrative support across the service.
The role involves a strong focus on supervision and team leadership. You will:
- Supervise and support a team of staff, including undertaking annual reviews and supporting development
- Lead, motivate and organise workloads to ensure effective service delivery
- Ensure consistent application of procedures and working practices
- Provide guidance and advice to colleagues on processes and enquiries
- Monitor performance and contribute to continuous improvement
You will also support a range of administrative functions including data analysis, reporting, financial processes and records management.
About you: You will have:
- Experience in a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong administrative experience and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
Working arrangements: This is a hybrid post with a requirement to attend the office up to 60 percent of your working time, which includes weekly travel to support service delivery across other office locations across Aberdeenshire, including Inverurie and Peterhead.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation. Fixed term for a period not exceeding 30/06/2028.
Interviews will be undertaken at our Viewmont, Stonehaven offices. Interviews may be carried out on either the 22nd or 23rd June.
