The post holders will work as a part of the Place Economy team to develop and embed strategic change as we prepare Aberdeenshire for a Just Transition and a sustainable future, taking a holistic view of local and regional economies. You will demonstrate creative thinking, problem solving and project management, the ability to support diverse stakeholders across communities and industry (including the energy sector), and to apply systems thinking as we help to create a thriving, diverse and resilient future economy.
Embedding the Community Wealth building strategy, the Energy Development Charter and using a responsive programme management approach to deliver meaningful and long-term change, the post holders will be a part of a diverse, skilled and empowered team. These posts will be principally based in the North Aberdeenshire area, but will be required to work across the Local Authority area as and when required. There is a requirement to attend evening meetings and events.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation. This position is a Politically Restricted position as identified by the Local Government and Housing Act 1989.
This post has a minimum requirement of one reference which must be your current or most recent employer. There are 2 posts available. The job location is Banff Town House or Buchan House.
