A vacancy has arisen for a Relief Area Harbourmaster (North) who will be responsible for providing cover for, and assisting the Area Harbour Master in the management of harbours and marinas, within a defined area, ensuring the safe and efficient operation on behalf of the council, including movement of vessels, harbour activities and pollution under the powers contained within the Harbours Confirmation Order Act 1987 and associated Harbour Bylaws.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
