Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Officer to help lead, develop, and strengthen the Joint Equipment Service (JES) in particular around systems and processes and development of standard operating procedures for many parts of this team. This is a key role within a vital service that supports older people, adults with physical disabilities, and partner organisations across Aberdeenshire.

The successful candidate will drive operational improvement, support strategic development, and ensure that JES continues to deliver safe, efficient, and high quality services to its diverse user base.

About the Role

As Project Officer, you will take the lead in developing the JES operational model, delivering priority projects aligned to the HSCP’s Older People and Physical Disabilities portfolio. You will ensure that robust systems and processes are in place within the JES store environment and that they are consistently followed by all staff.

You will work across Aberdeenshire Council, NHS Grampian and a range of external partners—including Education and Housing—to balance clinical needs with financial accountability, ensuring the service remains sustainable while meeting essential service user outcomes.

A strong commitment to continuous improvement, quality assurance, and collaborative working is essential.

Fixed term for a period not exceeding 31/12/2026.
