Come work with the Allachburn Team in our prominent home in the heart of royal Deeside. We are looking for a caring and empathetic person who is diligent, enthusiastic and hard working. The right candidate will be given full training and support and will become part of the established team.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation. The hourly rate is £14.21 per hour increasing to £14.62 after 2 years of service. These vacancies will require flexible, evening and weekend working. Shift times are 07.30 to 15.00 or 14.30 to 22.00, worked on a rolling rota which includes some weekend working.
Rates and Allowances
- The hourly rate is £14.21 per hour.
- Weekend Working: If an employee works between midnight Friday to midnight Sunday, he/she is entitled to an enhanced rate of pay of time and one third for all hours worked during this period.
- Overtime: Where the service requires an employee to work more than 37 hours in a week, this is regarded as overtime and is paid at an enhanced rate of time and a half for all hours worked.

Requirements
- This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
- Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
- You will be required to provide this check.
- A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
- This post will require you to have obtained SSSC registration within 3 months of employment.
- This post has a minimum requirement of two references, one of these must be your current or most recent employer.
