To undertake all aspects of Building Standards work including planning, checking and undertaking site inspections in accordance with the Building (Scotland) Act 2003, associated guidance policies and supporting legislation. Specifically securing the health, safety, welfare and convenience of persons in or about buildings and furthering the conservation of fuel, power and sustainable construction.
This post is part of a career grade scheme and salary placement will be in accordance with the scheme. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
