We are looking for someone who works to a high standard of cleanliness to join our Domestic team. General duties include working within the inhouse laundry, assisting with serving meals within the dining room and general cleaning of resident bedrooms and communal areas. We are looking for someone who can interact with our residents and support them with the care of their living environment.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation. The candidate will need to be available to work variable shift patterns including weekends, evenings and day time.

Rates and Allowances

  • The hourly rate is Β£13.80 per hour.
  • If an employee works between midnight Friday to midnight Sunday, he/she is entitled to an enhanced rate of pay of time and one third for all hours worked during this period.
  • Where the service requires an employee to work more than 37 hours in a week, this is regarded as overtime and is paid at an enhanced rate of time and a half for all hours worked.

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
