We are seeking a motivated Affordable Housing Development Officer to join our friendly and supportive Housing Strategy team, helping to deliver the Council’s priorities for affordable housing. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, communities, Registered Social Landlords and external partners to support delivery of the Local Housing Strategy.

The role includes involvement in:

  • Empty Homes initiatives
  • Low Cost Shared Equity
  • New build delivery
  • Asset acquisition and disposal
  • Development of the Strategic Housing Investment Plan

You will have experience working in a housing-related environment, strong organisational and project management skills, and the ability to analyse data and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Fixed term for a period not exceeding 30/06/2028. Interviews expected 4 June 2026.
