About The Role
The purpose of the role is to ensure the effective design of IT services, aligning with strategic business objectives and service management principles, overseeing their acceptance by IT support teams in readiness for going live in our production environment.You will work with multiple stakeholder groups to design IT services and ensure their requirements are fulfilled by delivery teams. You will also provide value-add IT service impact information to support the delivery of new and changed services.
Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain strong and productive relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of Aberdeen PLC and our strategic suppliers.

Be the IT service management expert on programmed and B.A.U IT delivery work – assessing IT service design requirements and scoping service design and transition work accordingly

Deliver IT service designs and IT support models to enable optimised management of IT services

Ensure appropriate arrangements are agreed and documented for early life support, immediately after go-live

Provide oversight to assurance of services to be accepted by Aberdeen IT support teams and strategic suppliers

Maintain application service information in IT configuration management database, ensuring currency and accuracy

Deliver regular review and update of IT support models

Provide IT service impact analysis and management information to support service design and service management operations
About The Candidate

Working knowledge of ITIL/Service Management best practice
-
Strong communication and influencing skills, with experience managing complex shareholder relationships with differing priorities.

Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and workshops for multiple stakeholder groups

Ability to produce high quality documentation which will be used by IT operations teams

Ability to present complex analysis and management information to different stakeholder audiences

Familiarity with risk management policy and process in Financial Services

Strong collaboration skills; flexibility and comfort with ambiguity are essential

Experience in an IT service or analysis discipline with a working knowledge of an IT governance framework (Such as COBIT) would be advantageous
