About the Role
AsTeam Supervisor, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring our facilities run smoothly, efficiently, and safely at all times. You will supervise a team of Operations Assistants and be responsible for maintaining operational excellence across all areas, including high-profile sporting events.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise day-to-day operations across the facility, including international and large-scale sporting events, fitness classes, and pool operations
Act as akey holder, responsible for theopening and closing of the buildingand ensuring full operational readiness
Handle and overcome unexpected challenges and operational issues with confidence and calm
Ensure compliance withhealth & safety procedures, including regular risk assessments, emergency response, and enforcing safety protocols
Conduct and document regularquality checks and inspectionsof equipment, facilities, and cleanliness standards
Coordinate staff coverage, support training and development, and manage performance
Deliver excellent customer service and act as a key contact for enquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution
Provide leadership in emergency situations, including first aid response and evacuations
Who We’re Looking For
️Proven experience in asupervisory rolein a sport or leisure environment
️Demonstrated ability tosolve problems under pressureand manage incidents effectively
️Strong understanding and commitment tohealth & safety standardsand procedures
️Avalid NPLQ(National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) or willingness to obtain one
️Confidence in being akey holderand trusted team leader
️Ability tomotivate, train and supporta diverse team
️Comfortable working arotating shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
