As a Laundry Operative at Aberdeen Laundry Services, you will be responsible for handling and processing linen and towels through various stages of the laundry cycle. This includes sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and packing. Laundry Operative Key Responsibilities:- Pre-sorting dirty linen and towels into cages/barrows ready to be loaded into washing machines.
- Accurately weighing and recording loads prior to washing.
- Loading washing machines, recording weight prewash then processing using correct wash program.
- Ensure wash program is completed.
- Unloading washing machines into barrows, weighing wet linen, and recording.
- Waxing and retaping roller ironing.
- Feeding Roller iron with wet linen.
- End of line packing of linen.
