**About the Department**

Our Real Estate Investments team is responsible for the acquisition, management and disposal of assets across multiple European markets. Working closely with fund management, portfolio management, development, research and strategy teams, the department supports investment performance and enables our clients to be better investors. The team combines market insight, disciplined execution and collaborative working to deliver outcomes across a diverse portfolio.

**About the Role**

This opportunity sits within the European Transactions team and would operate as a pan-European role. You will support the coordination and execution of acquisitions and disposals across Aberdeen’s European real estate portfolio, working alongside the Head of Investments Execution and colleagues across the region. The role offers exposure to multiple jurisdictions, asset classes and investment strategies, providing an excellent platform to build deep real estate transaction expertise. You will also help improve processes, data management and reporting through AI and workflow automation. Based in London, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact while developing your career.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Help co-ordinate and support acquisitions and disposals across Aberdeen’s European real estate portfolio.
  • Appraise investment and divestment opportunities and contribute insight to transaction decision-making.
  • Prepare investment committee papers, transaction reports and client presentation materials.
  • Maintain transaction data, records and reporting to support existing funds and new fund launches.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across fund management, portfolio management, research and development teams.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through AI solutions and workflow automation.

**About the Candidate**

  • Knowledge of, or genuine interest in, the European real estate investment market.
  • Experience supporting transaction processes, investment analysis or related real estate activities.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using data to support decision making.
  • Analytical mindset with experience preparing reports, proposals or supporting papers.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience using AI, automation tools or process improvement techniques.
