Solutions take the form of semi-liquid funds (QIAIF, LTAF) and outsourced CIO mandates.**About the Role**The Investment Director will report to the Head of Private Market Solutions and work closely with the immediate Private Market Solutions team, other private market teams within Aberdeen, and the broader Multi Asset desk.**Key Responsibilities:*** Manage private market portfolios, including asset allocation, risk monitoring, and cash flow modelling.* Source, research, and execute investment ideas for the portfolios.* Develop investment processes, portfolio management, and risk management techniques for private market investments.* Provide quantitative skills and conduct research into new areas of private markets portfolio management.* Develop innovative products that meet future client needs, working closely with global product, sales, client teams and clients directly.* Represent the team and its processes with clients, other Aberdeen stakeholders and to the industry.**About the Candidate:*** Strong academic background in a quantitative and financial discipline.* Professional qualification such as CFA, ACA, or equivalent is desirable.* Cross border or international experience is desirable* Significant professional experience in private markets investment, asset management, investment banking, consulting, or similar.* Private Markets direct/co-investment, transaction management and underwriting skills are desirable* Understanding and experience with portfolio construction, management, and risk principles.* Hands-on experience with large-scale project implementation.* Strong analytical and numerical skills.* Excellent communication and presentation skills.* Attention to detail and thoroughness.* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.We are proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer.
