b Overview /b p In this role you will own Aberdeen’s customer-facing Identity Provider and IDaaS platform, improving security and reliability. You’ll design and implement authentication, SSO, and user lifecycle solutions, while building cloud-native apps and APIs on Azure. You’ll drive automation, mentoring, and engineering excellence across Digital Engineering. This position offers influence over critical services and engineering standards within a collaborative, growth-focused environment. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 40 days’ annual leave /li li 16% employer pension contribution /li li discretionary performance-based bonus /li li private healthcare /li li flexible benefits /li li gym discounts /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Own and evolve the customer-facing Identity Provider (IDP) and IDaaS platform with emphasis on reliability and security. /li li Design and implement authentication, SSO, federation, user lifecycle and access governance using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML and SCIM. /li li Build and support cloud-native applications, APIs and integrations on Microsoft Azure from design to production support. /li li Advance automation and engineering excellence via Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines and scripting tools. /li li Troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root-cause analysis and bolster operational resilience. /li li Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership, standards and best practices. /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience operating Identity Provider or Identity-as-a-Service platforms, ideally Okta. /li li Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SSO, MFA and identity security controls. /li li Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, identity integration and cloud-native services. /li li Strong software engineering capability across C# .NET APIs, backend services and secure integrations. /li li Experience with Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD automation and scripting tools. /li li Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate, mentor and support colleagues. /li /ul ul li collaboration /li li mentoring /li li problem-solving /li li Okta administration /li li SCIM provisioning /li li access governance /li /ul
