Role Overview
Reporting to the Service Deliver Manager (ITAM), the Service Strategy & Governance Analyst will support the delivery of the corporate strategy by executing and tracking progress against a clear roadmap and operating plan. The role spans financials, people/manpower, sourcing partners, and improvement initiatives to develop required capabilities and increase performance across the business.
Key Outcomes
- Supports the Service Protection Manager (ITAM) in executing the corporate vision and strategy.
- Develops and maintains high‑level policies and procedures for Enterprise Services for governance and oversight.
- Works as part of a team to deliver operating plans aligned with the wider Technology operating plan, covering supply/manpower, financials, KPIs, capability development, improvement initiatives, and risks.
- Tracks and reports progress against the operating plan and roadmap, communicating and managing exceptions as required.
- Maintains a detailed operating model for the corporate function, defining functions, processes, toolsets, organisational structures, and appropriate sourcing models.
- Analyzes and reports on financial budgets and manpower plans to deliver services, ensuring alignment with agreed operating plans and regular reviews.
- Monitors and tracks Enterprise Services KPI’s, synergies, and cost‑saving targets.
- Assists in understanding and mapping the business value of services.
- Supports definition and embedding of a knowledge management strategy across corporate.
- Helps develop and implement a robust service portfolio management approach, managing new services, changes, and prioritisation of investments.
- Tracks future demand and assesses impacts as necessary.
- Plans and manages Service Strategy & Governance initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with a grasp of P&L across multiple vendors and multi‑million‑pound budgets.
- Finance degree and/or at least 12 months of professional finance experience.
- Broad understanding of IT Service Management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborative and independent engagement with all levels of the organisation.

- ITIL qualifications desirable.
