Company Aberdeen is a leading UK Wealth & Investments group focused on direct and advised wealth platforms and specialist asset management. The company consists of interactive investor (ii), Investments and Adviser, each dedicated to meeting evolving client needs.
About the Role You will champion Aberdeen’s corporate purpose and support strategic business priorities. Your key objective is to ensure the corporate narrative is clear, consistent and effectively delivered across the company’s channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the External Communications team to promote Aberdeen’s purpose and strategy to all audiences.
- Lead corporate projects and forums to coordinate critical and complex communication requirements.
- Create content in various formats for corporate channels, including the website and social media.
- Provide direct communications support to C-suite stakeholders, including script writing and briefing notes.
- Produce and manage corporate communications content for full-year and half-year results, Annual Report and Account production, and Annual General Meeting deliverables.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations and other business units to ensure effective coordination and promotion of activity.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and coordination of key business messages across channels.
Candidate
- Corporate communications experience, financial public relations or investor relations – especially in corporate reporting and script writing.
- Business and industry awareness, with strong knowledge of global asset management and UK savings and wealth sectors.
- Excellent writing skills to draft highly effective and insightful corporate content.
- Comfortable challenging and discussing complex issues and able to articulate key messages in writing or verbally.
- Proven track-record of effective project coordination and delivery.
- Knowledge of listing and disclosure rules and experience managing confidential information.
