Teacher of Targeted Support – Lochside Academy – ABC12729
Job Purpose / About the role: To deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute to the professional, corporate life of the school in relation to pupils, staff and appropriate external bodies within the agreements of the SNCT.
Location: Lochside Academy, Wellington Circle, Aberdeen
Duration: Permanent, Full Time
Roles that require PVG membership: Upon commencement employees will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership. For full‑time roles earning £30,000 or more the Council will initially cover the cost (£18 for existing PVG scheme members, £59 for non‑members) and deduct it from the first full month’s salary.
Required Qualifications
- Appropriate teaching qualification
- Full GTC (Scotland) registration in the appropriate subject/sector, or eligibility for such registration
- PVG scheme membership – Working with Children
Skills and Demonstrated Ability
