Purpose We are looking for a creative and detail-driven Picture Editor to curate and enhance photographic content across all our platforms – website, print, social.

The ideal candidate will have a strong aesthetic sense that aligns with our brands’ vision, combined with excellent attention to detail, thorough organisational capabilities, and a passion for travel and culture.

You will be responsible for sourcing, selecting and editing imagery that conveys the essence of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group.

Responsibilities Conduct thorough picture and video research to curate a visually compelling and diverse collection of assets for all our journeys, destinations, products and properties across print and digital.

Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure our imagery reflects the essence of our unique travel experiences.

Uphold the visual style across all our visual media and portfolio of brands.

Liaise with external contributors to acquire imagery and video.

Sourcing and editing images from stock photo agencies.

Work closely with the Photo Director to ensure accurate labelling and filing of assets.

Organise and manage assets within the DAM, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

Where necessary, crop and colour correct imagery and video.

Work closely with the design and editorial teams to coordinate on visual storytelling elements.

Ensure timely delivery and thorough quality assurance of high‑quality images for publication across various channels including print, online, and social media.

Support the Photo Director with photo shoots (commissioning, production, legal contracts etc) where necessary.

Liaise with legal team to ensure all photo contracts are accurate and filed.

Experience & Qualifications Proven experience as a Picture Editor or similar role in a publishing or media environment – preferably within the travel world.

Proficiency in photo‑editing and design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Figma, In Design and other graphic design tools.

Excellent visual and artistic skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A keen working knowledge and network of travel photographers.

Consistent attention to detail concerning image labelling, rights usage and filing.

Desirable Visual Arts further education Person Specification Well organised with a strong attention to detail.

Ability to work at speed and juggling multiple workstreams at one time.

Up to date on the latest trends in photography and editing technologies.

A passion for travel and a deep appreciation for different cultures and landscapes.
