Role Profile
- Position: Reservation Systems Administrator
- Contract: Full Time Fixed Term (6 months)
- Department: Product
- Location: Cheltenham
- Reports to: Amy Cooper (Regional Manager, Product Data Configuration & Processes)
Purpose: To support the Product Data Configuration & Processes team in the accurate configuration, validation and maintenance of product data, following standardisation guidelines and ensuring readiness for the successful implementation of our new global reservation system.
Responsibilities
- Data Configuration and Maintenance: Accurately load, update and maintain product data into the reservation system in line with specific deadlines.
- Standards & Compliance: To ensure system administration procedures and policies are adhered to in accordance with Data Governance Guidelines.
- Checking and Validating: Review loading input by other team members into the database and highlight any errors found.
- Data Integrity Monitoring: Proactively identify missing, incomplete or inconsistent information and communicate findings to the Regional Manager, Product Data Configuration and Processes.
- Deadline Management: Notify the Regional Manager, Product Data Configuration and Processes where missing or incomplete information is likely to impact project timelines or system readiness.
- System Testing: Conduct system testing where required, log and report all system errors to the Regional Manager, Product Data Configuration and Processes.
- Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as reasonably required to support objectives of the wider team.
Communication
- Provide regular, structured updates of loading progress, identified issues and missing information to the Regional Manager, Product Data Configuration and Processes.
- Clearly communicate risks, system challenges or delays that may impact timelines.
- Log and share information of own operational/system/support knowledge to ensure all team members benefit.
General
- Make full use of IT systems and tools to ensure maximum efficiency in all aspects of the role.
- Identify opportunities for system, process or workflow enhancements and make recommendations to improve future performance and data quality.

- Represent A&K in a professional manner at all times, maintaining high standards of conduct and communication.

About You
- Proven experience in data entry, or data driven roles, with a keen eye for accuracy and quality.
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment, with strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Strong ability to prioritise tasks effectively and complete work thoroughly within deadlines.
- Confident in numeracy skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage own workload.
