The role will be to support the Management Accountant in the day-to-day functions within the Finance Department ensuring adequate control in accounting systems and procedures of A&K.

Responsibilities:
  • Processing of direct cost invoices – checking invoices to the travel booking system and authorising for payment.
  • Monitoring and assisting with the purchase ledger inbox and service desk daily exports from the reservation system to upload invoices into the SUN accounting system.
  • Assisting with the preparation and creation of weekly payment runs to suppliers, maintaining the banking system supplier payment templates, making amendments as necessary, and setting up new instructions confirming bank details with the supplier.
  • Taking ownership of and reconciling intercompany statements meeting group deadlines.
  • Dealing with internal and external queries.
  • Assisting at month end, year end and audit.
Requirements:
  • Previous finance/accounting experience (2+ years preferred).
  • Proven experience in account reconciliations, ledger management, and general accounting processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • AAT qualification or currently studying towards a recognised finance or accounting qualification – would be advantageous.
