Overview

The Product Channel Merchant (PCM) team is the key connection between Product and Marketing teams: PCM establishes seasonal strategies that amplify the biggest product opportunities across every customer touchpoint, connecting product, pricing and experience. This role partners closely with merchandising, marketing, planning/promotions, site and visual to drive brand product priorities, marketing campaigns, and omni experience. The PCM is the key point of contact between global category merchants and the marketing & digital organizations, ensuring product strategies are translated to the customer to drive overall brand growth. They will have a special focus on the DTC channel, partnering with site merch, marketing, and regional buying and planning teams to ensure the channel is set up for success, and reporting on them on a weekly basis in Monday selling meetings.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Immerse yourself in the product development process each season, staying closely connected with EMEA buying team on assortment strategies and product details
  • Maintain regional messaging calendar and communication of edits
  • With regional assortment expertise, own creation of EMEA regional campaign product briefs as an input to seasonal marketing strategy sprints and consult on global campaign product briefs to ensure regional nuance is captured
  • Partner with Global PCM & Marketing, as well as EMEA regional marketing & experience functions, to effectively bring the assortment(s) to market and connect omni-channel product presentations across site, app, and stores
  • Partner with Global Site Merchandising on EMEA site taxonomy and DDS opportunities
  • Partner with Global Site Merchandising, PCM and Brand Experience teams on A/B test curiosities and optimal linking strategies
  • Partner with Global Visual Merchandising on regional store marketing support
  • Partner with Global Paid Media team on product input needed to execute regionally relevant paid campaigns
  • Partner with EMEA brand strategy and influence teams on product strategies and sample needs for regional human-powered brand building, inclusive of sample orders
  • Partner with EMEA digital product lead on other regional digital opportunities as they arise
  • Participate in EMEA regional strategy and selling meetings; leading from the front with regard to the DTC channel, and effectively connect with Global partners on action items and curiosities
  • Analyze customer and sales data to help inform future product strategies & product messaging plans for the region, including deep understanding of the region’s customer and market
  • Partner closely with Global PCM and Marketing to ensure we capture the most important product for on-figure photography and campaign photoshoots, including participation in regional photoshoots to ensure product is captured to our tech standard and product/fit integrity
  • Maintain effective communication with Global PCM to ensure region ladders back to Global strategy and process

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • Experience of Merchandising or equivalent experience as an E commerce Buyer
  • Ability to connect the dots between multiple workstreams and cross functional teams
  • Willingness and ability to work on both high-level strategy and low-level execution
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Ability to understand the big picture and prioritize
  • Confident and well-spoken, ability to present to multiple levels of the company
