Associate Health and Safety Specialist, EMEA

- Ensuring the business is legally compliant with all health and safety legislation in assigned area.
- Monitoring health and safety risks and hazards and advising store personnel on how to minimise them.
- Partner with local store management and corresponding District Managers to meet health and safety objectives.
- Setting up and arranging all required health and safety training for store personnel.
- Provide clear and consistent training to all store personnel on safety communication guidelines.
- Working with and training all associates to manage, monitor and improve the health and safety standards within the organization.
- Being responsible for safety audits in stores and offices.
- Liaising with the authorities pre/post site inspections.
- Assisting with the management of health and safety monitoring systems and policies.
- Managing emergency procedures and organising emergency teams such as fire marshals and first aiders.
- Offering general health and safety advice to all associates.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Health and Safety Manager.
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Bachelor’s Degree or related experience.
- Fluent in German.
- Excellent in Microsoft Program use: Word, Excel, PowerBI, Microsoft Forms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to travel internationally – 60% of role.
- Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on company needs.
- Cultural fit with Abercrombie & Fitch.
- Some safety or legal orientated education, experience or training.
