We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support inbound transportation and trade operations into the EMEA region. This role plays a critical part in managing the end-to-end flow of goods from origin through final mile delivery to regional distribution centers, while ensuring compliance with global trade regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong logistics expertise, experience managing third-party carriers and customs brokers, and a commitment to operational excellence.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Manage inbound transportation operations into the EMEA region, with a focus on timely final mile deliveries to distribution centers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party carriers and logistics providers to ensure service reliability, cost efficiency, and performance accountability.
- Serve as the primary contact for customs brokerage partners, ensuring accurate and timely clearance of goods in accordance with trade compliance regulations.
- Ensure adherence to global trade compliance processes, including documentation accuracy, tariff classification, and record-keeping requirements.
- Partner closely with the regional leadership team to align transportation and trade operations with broader business goals.
- Support performance management of carriers and customs brokers through KPI tracking, regular service reviews, and RFP/RFI processes.
- Analyze transportation and trade data to identify risks, resolve issues, and uncover process improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Sourcing, Merchandising, Finance, and Distribution to coordinate inbound shipments and resolve exceptions.
- Maintain SOPs, dashboards, and reporting tools to support operational visibility and decision-making.
- Monitor changes in transportation regulations and trade compliance requirements, and communicate key insights to stakeholders.
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in transportation or trade operations, with a focus on international inbound shipments and customs processes.
- Strong understanding of final mile delivery to distribution centers and EMEA regional logistics.
- Experience managing third-party carriers and customs brokerage partners.
- Knowledge of trade compliance practices and familiarity with customs clearance procedures.
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and data analysis tools (Excel, reporting dashboards).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environment.
- Experience working within inbound logistics networks supporting the EMEA region.
- Familiarity with Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), duty optimization strategies, or trusted trader programs is a plus.
