You are a self-motivated and proactive occupational pensions administrator seeking to join a supportive pensions team. Working alongside the Pensions Manager and located in the HR function for the 1 day only you need attend the office each week. Your new varied and rewarding role offers the opportunity to oversee the outsourced administration providers for both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes, while also taking responsibility for a wide range of employee benefits offerings. If you have not yet undertaken employee benefits the Pensions Manager is happy to train you on these, as long as you have a strong background within occupational pensions administration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the outsourced administration providers for both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.
- Attend the office one day per week as part of the HR function.
- Be the link between the company and external pension providers and ensure employee scheme member satisfaction.
- Assist with member engagement activities, including pensions webinars, member communications, and updating the company pensions intranet.
- Support day-to-day administration while the Pensions Manager focuses on strategic elements.
- Collaborate with the Pensions Manager to train on employee benefits when required.
- Attend board meetings and provide information on the pension administration side to trustees.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior occupational pensions administration experience.
- Good IT skills, including spreadsheet manipulation and data reporting.
- Planning skills and contract management knowledge.
- Ability to stay up to date with current pensions legislation and maintain compliance.
- Willingness to learn about employee benefits if not already experienced.
