We are looking for a proactive and analytical Product Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and ongoing performance of pension administration systems. Working closely with users, IT, and change teams, you will play a key role in translating business needs into effective system solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery across the full development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with users to understand requirements, challenges, and opportunities for system improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define development requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Support release planning, including prioritisation of high-impact work and maintaining delivery schedules.
- Coordinate and support all stages of the development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, UAT, and deployment.
- Ensure UAT issues are clearly documented, prioritised, and tracked through to resolution.
- Produce and distribute release notes following system updates.
- Support administration teams with system use, including training and demonstrations.
- Monitor product performance post-release, using insights to inform future enhancements.
- Maintain and prioritise product backlogs in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with legislative changes impacting pension systems and administration.
Qualifications
- Experience in pensions administration and/or a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role is essential.
- You will have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to challenge and improve existing processes.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and project delivery.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experienced in supporting or using pensions administration systems, with strong Microsoft Excel capability.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, development tools (e.g. Azure DevOps), or relevant industry qualifications (e.g. PMI) would be advantageous.
