Join Our Team as a Revenue Management Analyst. Please note that this is a Hybrid role ,part office (Colchester/Stratford) and part work from home.
The Role
Join our team as a Revenue Analyst and take charge of optimising ticket sales and seat availability to ensure seamless customer journeys. Your analytical mindset will support the team to accurately manage inventory, while strategically adjusting pricing and availability to maximise revenue. Additionally, you\’ll monitor and manage train occupancy levels to enhance passenger comfort and safety, making timely adjustments as needed.
Key Accountabilities
- Use Greater Anglia’s Revenue Management System to maximize revenue from advance tickets.
- Ensure accurate inventory with the national reservations systems to meet industry standards and deadlines.
- Manage quotas using state of the art revenue management tools to monitor bookings, and adjust as needed to meet revenue and demand goals.
- Report regularly on trends and anomalies to support commercial decisions making.
- Coordinate with analysts on schedule changes.
- Manage fares and inventory inputs for Stanstedexpress.com.
- Collaborate and act as a business partner to other teams across the company to optimize the use of train data.
- Manipulate large data sets to improve efficiency across operations.
- Develop pricing strategies for new routes and additional fare options.
- Support the Senior Revenue Management Manager on strategy and new opportunities.
- Assist other analysts during busy periods or when covering leave.

- Experienced in analysing data, identifying trends, and articulating these to make business improvements.
- Have a friendly, approachable demeanor with the ability to communicate effectivelythrough written and verbal communication
- Calm under pressure, able to think on their feet, and able to handle various situations
- Possess a “can-do” attitude and enjoy working as part of a team
- Confident in building relationships with stakeholders across the business with the ability to coach, influence and negotiate at all levels.
