Role Details

  • You will work an average of 35 hours per week, with shifts over a 24-hour period, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Full uniform will be provided to reflect our brand values.
  • The successful candidate will need to attend a medical, as all offers are subject to passing a safety-critical medical.
  • You must live within a reasonable distance to the depot you are applying for.

About the Role

Greater Anglia is looking for dedicated Train Drivers to operate trains safely, punctually, and economically, adhering to all Rules & Regulations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring reliable train services, effective communication, maintaining operational standards, and monitoring train performance.

  • Friendly and approachable, with excellent communication skills for dealing with customers and colleagues.
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable, and willing to accept high responsibility.
  • Proactive with a positive attitude and ability to work independently.
