We are seeking a proactive Occupational Health Advisor to join our dynamic team. Operating from our main office base, you will travel to a variety of client sites to deliver vital clinical services, with the added benefit of a hybrid working model for your administrative and report-writing duties.
This role offers excellent variety, with variable hours tailored to business demands including occasional late evening and night shifts to support our clients' round-the-clock operations. Clinical governance and guidance will be provided directly by our Clinical Lead / OH Practitioner .
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Screenings: Conduct workplace drug and alcohol testing , manage vaccination clinics , and perform phlebotomy .
Health Surveillance: Deliver and monitor robust health surveillance programmes in compliance with current legislation.
Case & Absence Management: Oversee a diverse caseload, advising management on sickness absence, rehabilitation, and phased return-to-work plans.
Pre-Employment Assessments: Conduct screenings to determine fitness for work and recommend workplace adjustments.
Report Writing: Compile clear, clinically sound reports for HR and management using our hybrid work-from-home flexibility.
Requirements
Professional Registration: Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid, active registration.
OH Specialism: Holds a formal Occupational Health qualification (Degree/Diploma) OR is an RN qualified to an appropriate, verifiable level in specific health surveillance competencies.
Clinical Competency: Proven experience or up-to-date competency in phlebotomy, vaccinations, and drug & alcohol screening .
Flexibility & Travel: Full driving licence with a willingness to travel to client sites from our main office. Flexibility to work variable shifts (including occasional lates/nights). xiskglj
Skills: Strong communication and case management skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
