We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst (end to end) to lead the replacement of legacy lending systems with Loan IQ, a corporate lending processing suite of Finastra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commercial Banking operations, particularly with regards to Loans as a product, and extensive experience in leading IT business analysis with focus on definition of the target process, the target state of systems integration, and their SIT strategy within complex global environments. The role requires effective stakeholder management across London and the US, and a deep understanding of software development lifecycles, strong business process modelling skills, and knowledge about integration technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the IT integration component of this critical project, working with the PM, the architects, other CTB and RTB IT development teams, and key business stakeholders.
The role involves leading the IT integration work stream of Loan IQ implementation with various upstream and downstream systems, engaging with stakeholders, providing project status updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and facilitating workshops and meetings.
Responsibilities- Workstream Leadership: Lead the IT integration work stream of Loan IQ with various upstream and downstream systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders across headquarters, US, and within the European context to ensure clear communication, alignment and support for the project.
- Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and the PM.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Business units, to ensure the successful delivery.
- Workshops and Meetings: Lead and facilitate workshops, meetings, and reviews with key stakeholders from both business and IT to gather requirements, ensure alignment, and address any concerns or issues.
- Target Business Processes for Upstream / Downstream Systems Integration: Establish and document target business processes, delineating boundaries among inputs / outputs, systems, data flows, and inter-connections.
- Assistance for Development Team: Support design for each integration feature and document the high-level interface design, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical specifications.
- SIT Strategy: Contribute to high-level strategy for system integration testing (SIT), including non-functional requirement testing, which will lead to detailed SIT plan later owned by the test manager to ensure comprehensive coverage and validation.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT business analysis and systems integration landscape, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within complex, multinational organizations (Essential).
- In-depth understanding of the software development process and overall project life cycle (Essential).
- In-depth knowledge and work experience of banking product and finance, and a strong understanding of the regulatory environment in the banking sector (Essential).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and control the workstream, ensuring it meets project requirements and timelines (Essential).
