Overview

Senior Social Media Advertising Strategist (Remote US) is a role within Directive\’s new social media advertising consultancy focused on B2B LinkedIn advertising. The role reports to the Associate Director and sits on the LinkedIn media team. This is an opportunity to build and execute high-performing LinkedIn strategies for mid-market and enterprise clients, applying Directive\’s Customer Generation methodology (focusing on SQLs and Customers rather than MQLs). Join a fast-growing specialty agency and help shape the go-to-market playbook for this new venture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to align tasks, quality, and improvements
  • Build quarterly strategies for clients
  • Balance and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
  • Provide fractional support for internal marketing within Directive
  • Deeply understand client positioning and value propositions
  • Ensure lead routing is accurate within a CRM
  • Maintain personal productivity and utilization
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals through client relationships and networks
  • Execute and optimize LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI

What You Offer

  • 4+ years of experience at a performance/digital marketing agency, with hands-on support of B2B clients
  • Deep expertise in paid social advertising, with a focus on LinkedIn Ads
  • Experience with LinkedIn Ad Units such as conversation ads, document ads, and collaborative video placements like CTV
  • Proficiency with advertising platforms/tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, and more
  • Ability to delegate to junior team members to ensure joint success
  • Strong understanding of paid media principles including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to drive decisions
  • Ability to drive results and measure outcomes via OCT
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
  • Competitive and curious; a true problem solver

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Benefits

  • Salary: The annual base salary range for this role in the United States is $85,000-$95,000 USD, with potential for bonus eligibility. This range is an estimate and may vary based on compensation practices and experience.

Work Environment and Additional Information

As a remote-first company, you can work from anywhere in the US, with optional state-of-the-art offices in Irvine, California. For global locations, you must have established and current work authorization and permanently reside in that country.

This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate via Zoom and Slack. You will use a laptop (PC or Mac) and essential software, and you should be able to remain stationary for extended periods and interpret written and/or verbal communication. A reliable internet connection and a professional background are required.
