About the European Innovation Lead NPD role
In this role, you will support a variety of formulation development activities, contributing to the scientific evaluation of product performance and consumer acceptance. You will use your scientific expertise to develop new products, create line extensions, and advance technologies that deliver meaningful benefits to customers while strengthening our intellectual property portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute projects, managing assignments within large initiatives and driving smaller projects to meet milestones and deadlines.
- Develop and optimise formulations, creating new products, enhancing existing ones, and applying best practices for safety, accuracy, and sustainability.
- Drive innovation by exploring new materials and technologies, evaluating competitive products, and developing IP‑protected solutions.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, Marketing, Design, Procurement, and Product Supply to accelerate product development and launches.
- Ensure quality and compliance through lab to production scale‑up, regulatory awareness, and strong safety and documentation standards.
- Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to evaluate novel materials and support sales teams with technical data and performance insights.
- Analyse and apply consumer insights, using test results to recommend improvements and translate user needs into preferred solutions.
- Use data‑driven decision making through experimental design and statistical methods.
Experience You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or higher/equivalence in chemistry, biochemistry, or other related science.
- Scientific curiosity and the ability to solve technical problems related to formulation and manufacturing.
