Job Type: Full-time / Permanent

Salary + Commission: £300 - £500 per week.

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and experienced Towing and Recovery Driver to join our busy team. In this role, you will respond to breakdowns, accidents, and vehicle recovery requests, providing excellent customer service to drivers in stressful situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to recovery dispatches for breakdowns and accidents.
  • Safely load, secure, and transport various vehicles using flatbeds, spec-lifts, or heavy recovery vehicles.
  • Diagnose minor roadside faults where possible or safely recover the vehicle to a garage or compound.
  • Maintain clear communication with the dispatch team and customers.
  • Conduct daily walk-around checks on your recovery vehicle and maintain accurate logs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of commercial towing or vehicle recovery experience.
  • Licence: Valid UK Driving Licence with Class 1 (C+E) / Class 2 (C) / C1 / B+E entitlement.
  • CPC & Digi Tacho: Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Clean Record: Maximum of 6 points on your licence (no DR/DD convictions).
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of vehicle tie-down/securing techniques and local road networks.
  • Availability: Willingness to work a flexible rota, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
