In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design the best strategy for the validation of new antibodies for critical research areas like cancer, immunology and infectious diseases.
  • Establish and troubleshoot new processes, with a focus on standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain high quality standards within the lab; ensuring the lab is compliant with all external and internal quality standards, including ISO9001.
  • Manage and mentor more junior colleagues, creating an engaging environment.
  • Ensure project objectives are met in agreed timeline and proactively communicate progress to other stakeholders.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • PhD in Immunology, Immuno-Oncology or Infectious Disease or equivalent years of experience in industry setting (typically 5 years) +7 years experience between academia and industry.
  • Strong Flow Cytometry background and practical expertise in multicolor immunophenotyping experiments (extra and intracellular markers human and murine).
  • Extensive experience in establishing new assays and protocols.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask and work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate open and constructive communication within the team along with other teams within the company across the globe.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in people management.
  • Previously worked to ISO9001 quality standards.
