Have strong fault-finding skills but no experience in Warden Call Systems? We want to hear from you.

We are looking for a technically minded Electrical Repairs Engineer who enjoys fault finding, diagnosing electrical issues and carrying out repairs, and who is keen to develop their skills in the specialist field of Warden Call Systems.

Previous Warden Call experience is not essential. We are more interested in finding an engineer with a strong Electronical repair background, a methodical approach to fault diagnosis and a willingness to learn. Full training and support will be provided to help the successful candidate develop the specialist knowledge required to work on Warden Call Systems.

The role will involve attending customer sites to investigate faults, diagnose problems, complete repairs and ensure systems are operating correctly and reliably. You will play an important role in maintaining systems that support vulnerable people and help them live safely and independently.

The Role:

  • Attend customer sites to investigate and resolve faults with Warden Call Systems.
  • Carry out detailed fault finding on electrical, electronic and communication-based systems.
  • Diagnose faults at component, device, wiring and system level where appropriate.
  • Undertake repairs, replacements, testing and commissioning following established procedures.
  • Identify the root cause of faults and implement effective, long-term solutions wherever possible.
  • Test systems following repairs to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
  • Work with control panels, power supplies, cabling, call points, communication devices and associated equipment.
  • Complete service reports, record faults and document work undertaken accurately.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders when attending site.
  • Manage allocated jobs effectively, keeping customers and the office informed of progress.
  • Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and company working practices.
  • Undertake training to develop knowledge and competency in Warden Call Systems and associated technologies.

We are looking for:

  • Experience repairing electrical or electronic systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • A practical, logical approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • A willingness to learn Warden Call Systems.
  • Full UK driving licence, if required for the role.

Experience in CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry, Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms or similar systems would be advantageous, but engineers from other repair-focused electrical or electronic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The opportunity:

Build on your existing engineering experience, receive training in a specialist system and develop your career in a role where reliable repairs make a real difference to people's safety and independence.

If you are a hands‑on engineer who enjoys fault finding and wants to learn something new, we would love to hear from you.
