Location: Office-based, Oldham, Manchester
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
About the Role
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Service Coordinator / Engineer Planner to coordinate the day-to-day reactive maintenance workload for our Service & Maintenance Contracts across a designated region.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our engineers have well-planned workloads, the right materials and clear information to complete their jobs efficiently, while maintaining excellent communication with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate weekly engineer workloads and routes
- Ensure engineers have a full and achievable workload each day, including managing failed or cancelled jobs
- Schedule reactive maintenance in line with Action Due dates and client requirements
- Liaise with clients regarding booked works, appointments and ongoing jobs
- Order and arrange stock required for bespoke and pre-booked works
- Coordinate engineer stock collections and ensure engineers maintain an appropriate stock level
- Handle initial telephone enquiries from clients and engineers
- Work closely with engineers and the wider Service Team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Maintain accurate records and update the company’s CRM system
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: Previous experience planning and managing engineers’ workloads
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confident communicating with clients, engineers and colleagues
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience using CRM systems is essential; experience with CASH would be advantageous
- Previous experience within the fire and security industry would be preferred
- Good telephone and IT skills
