We are currently looking for experienced engineers to join our team. Ideally, candidates will be multi-skilled across both fire and security disciplines. However, we actively encourage applications from individuals who are Fire-biased or Security-biased; we are open to a mix of both and would be more than happy to provide training on the other area should the candidate be interested in widening their knowledge of the industry.

Duties and Responsibilities- Fire Systems Responsibilities
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on: Fire Alarm Systems (Quarterly, Six-Monthly, Annual), Emergency Lighting (Monthly, Six-Monthly, Annual)
- Fault finding, repairing, and testing fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
- Servicing and maintaining fire panels (Morley, Kentec, Advanced, Hyfire, Cooper)
- Logging jobs and completing paperwork through the CASH system
- Understanding and complying with BS5839, Smoke control / AOV systems and Fire Extinguisher servicing
- Security Systems Responsibilities
- Performing PPM and reactive maintenance on: Access Control Systems (e.g., Paxton, PAC), Door Entry Systems (e.g., Videx)
- Troubleshooting and repairing electronic security systems
- Logging and tracking job progress via CASH system
- Working to industry best practices and client specifications
- General Responsibilities
- Attend emergency call-outs as part of an on-call rota
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- Use and maintain appropriate PPE and tools at all times
- Maintain health and safety standards and comply with company policy
- Complete and submit timesheets accurately and on time
- Conduct system surveys and installations where necessary
- Engage with clients professionally and clearly communicate technical solutions
- Maintain a high standard of technical knowledge and attend training where appropriate
- Proven experience in the Fire & Security industry
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance knowledge of: Fire Alarm Systems (Morley, Kentec, Advanced, Hyfire, Cooper), Access Control & Door Entry (Paxton, PAC, Videx)
- Working knowledge of BS5839
- Experience in PPM and reactive maintenance
- Understanding of Emergency Lighting systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
