We are looking for an experienced and motivated Fire Alarm & Life Safety Engineer to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and outstanding customer service across a variety of commercial and industrial sites.
Youll be working with a wide range of fire and life safety systems, including advanced fire alarms, detection systems, extinguishers, and specialist suppression systems.
We are looking for someone who is technically strong, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and commissioning of fire alarm systems
- Working on advanced and addressable fire systems across multiple manufacturers
- Servicing and maintaining VESDA systems
- Carrying out inspections and remedial works in line with industry standards
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service on-site
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately using digital systems
- Participating in an out-of-hours callout rota when required
- Supporting other engineers and contributing to a positive team environment
- Proven experience commissioning advanced fire alarm systems
- Strong working knowledge of VESDA systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Good IT skills and confidence using tablets/mobile devices for reporting
- The following are advantageous but not essential, as further training may be provided:
- Experience with kitchen suppression systems (Ansul preferred)
- Knowledge of PAVA systems
- Experience with access control and door entry systems
- Gent or Protec system training/certification
