We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and reactive call-outs of fire and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems.
- Respond to reactive call-outs, diagnose faults, and complete repairs efficiently.
- Service and maintain door access control systems.
- Carry out servicing and fault finding on emergency lighting systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current industry regulations and company procedures.
- Produce accurate service reports and maintain records of completed works.
- Provide professional support and advice to customers on-site.
- Liaise with colleagues and customers to ensure timely completion of service activities.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- What we are looking for
- Proven experience in servicing and fault finding on fire alarm systems.
- Experience attending and resolving reactive service calls.
- Ideally, knowledge and experience of servicing and fault diagnosis on door access control systems.
- Experience servicing and maintaining emergency lighting systems.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
