Join a growing team working across social housing and commercial sites, delivering high-quality service on a range of systems including fire alarms, access control, door entry, and security systems. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, perfect for an experienced engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working independently.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out reactive repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance (PPM)
- Fault-finding and fixing fire alarms, access control & door entry systems
- Completing installations, inspections, and system testing
- Logging jobs accurately using CASH and providing clear reports
- Supporting compliance with BS5839 and health & safety standards
- Participating in on-call rota and occasional overtime
- Delivering excellent service across multiple client sites
What you'll need:
- 3+ years experience in Fire & Security engineering
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on systems such as:
- Fire alarms (e.g. Morley, Kentec, Advanced, Gent, Protec)
- Access control & door entry (e.g. Paxton, PAC, Videx)
- Good understanding of BS5839 standards
- Experience with PPM, emergency lighting, and system inspections
- Full UK driving licence
Bonus skills (desirable):
- Smoke control / AOV systems experience
- Fire extinguisher servicing
- Experience using CASH or similar systems
